Students are learning how to classify quadrilaterals and triangles. They are also learning about finding missing angles in quads. and triangles. Additionally, students will find missing angles in straight lines, and deal with parallel lines cut by a transveral.

Complementary angles - add up to 90 degrees

Supplementary angles - add up to 180 degrees

Adjacent angles are side by side

Vertical angles (scissor angles) have the same measure

Alternate interior angles have the same measure

Alternate exterior angles have the same measure

The sum of the interior angles of a quadrialteral is 360 degrees.

The sum of the interior angles of a triangle is 180 degrees.

A straight line has 180 degrees in it.
